What is a Martingale?
Michael R. Dowd, CFA is a Vice President of Investments. A member of the investment team, Michael handles a variety of research projects to support Martingale’s investment process. Prior to joining Martingale in 2005, Michael worked for Putnam Investments, where he developed software tools to automate a rules-based portfolio construction and quantitative research platform for mid-cap equities. He wrote software code to generate cross-sectional and historical alphas, assess factor efficacy, and construct model portfolios.
Michael earned a B.S. in mathematics from The College of William and Mary and an M.B.A. in management from Boston College. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
